Winter Storage
Sun-Up offers a variety of different ways to store your boat for the winter.
Your boat can be stored in the yard for $1.40 per square foot.
For example:
Your boat is 25 feet long with an 8 foot beam (width)
22 X 8=200 square feet
200 X 1.40=280.00
Yard storage includes removal from the water in the fall and launching in the spring!
We also offer special rates for boats on trailers.

Please call or email if your boat on a trailer is larger than 25 feet long.
Note: As the storage rates for boats on a trailer are already discounted, no other discounts apply!
We also offer inside (cold) storage for your boat for $3.00 per square foot. Inside storage fills up fast, so please make your arrangements to reserve a spot inside as soon as possible!
We offer complete winterizing and shrinkwraping services. Please email or call for a detailed quote.
Sun-Up also offers Sterndrive storage and service which includes:
Removal of outdrive for inside heated storage
Inspection of U-Joints, gimbal bearing, and bellows
Check outdrive alignment
Lube change and reinstallation of outdrive in the spring
Properly servicing and inspecting the outdrive, and it’s surrounding components, is crucial to avoiding an unexpected and costly interruption to your boating season.
Other storage options are battery removal and storage which would include trickle charging you batteries over the winter and reinstalling them in the spring. We will also remove your batteries for pick up if you desire. Please call or email for the cost for these services.
We also offer trailer maintenance. Prior to putting your boat on a trailer that has been sitting for many months, let us service the bearings and correct any other issues to insure a safe ride for your boat to its final destination. We recommend that trailer bearings be inspected and serviced anywhere from every 6 months to 2 years depending on the level of usage on the trailer.
Sun-Up offers a variety of ways to pay for your winter storage and services. You can pay ½ at haul out and the balance on February 1st of next year.
You can receive a 10% discount off the cost of STORAGE by paying in full at haul out.
Of course, we accept cash, checks and all major credit cards.
Sun-Up will provide access to electricity and water in the spring to help you prepare for launching.
We also offer a summerizing service in the spring which includes:
Removing shrinkwrap
Installing your cover
Check and top off fluids
Charge and/or install batteries
Start and run the boat on land
